Diabetes Dialog is an annual, free of charge, 3-day program, designed for the education of Adult Endocrinology fellows by the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes at the University of Colorado Denver. Besides didactic lectures, there will be interactive case discussions and hands-on insulin pump and CGM education. Fellows will have the opportunity to interact with faculty members. Diabetes Dialog will be held at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, CO in October 2021. Exact days will be announced later. Diabetes Dialog is a small group education, one on one diabetes technology workshop. Diabetes Dialog has been highly appraised in 2018 and 2019 by the participants, unfortunately due to COVID19 pandemic, it could not be done in 2020. The Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes (BDC) specializes in type 1 diabetes research and care for children and adults. It is one of the largest and highly ranked diabetes institutes in the nation. The BDC has tremendous experience in diabetes technologies. The BDC faculty has highly recognized as experts in type 1 diabetes and diabetes technologies. Accepted fellows are required to attend all sessions of Diabetes Dialog to get a Certificate of Attendance provided by the University of Colorado Denver.
