About The Program

A word from our program directors

Hi Adult Endocrinology Fellows,

We designed this free of charge diabetes education for you. We pay your flights, lodging, conference and workshop attendance fees, meals. We want to create a friendly atmosphere that you can learn diabetes and diabetes technologies.

Our annual program is highly ranked among participants since 2018. Unfortunately, in 2020 we could not do our program due to COVID19 pandemic however we plan to continue our program in 2021 October. Diabetes Dialog in an annual program includes clinical based, up to date lectures for type 1 and type 2 diabetes with a focus on type 1 diabetes and diabetes technology workshops. We know the limitations and hard workload in Endocrinology Fellowship. You may or may not have a lot of experience with diabetes technologies in your fellowship program. Our goal is to invite you to the Barbara Davis Center, a leading type 1 diabetes clinical care and research center in the world and improve your confidence with patients with type 1 diabetes care and interpretation and use of advanced diabetes technologies.

Our program is unique, in small group didactics and workshops, you increase your knowledge with diabetes care and diabetes technologies. In our small group diabetes technology workshop, you will have a HANDS-ON experience with ALL diabetes technologies available in US (All insulin pumps, hybrid closed loop systems, smart insulin pens and CGMs). From button pushing to setting up, from downloading to interpretation, with real-patient cases, you will have an amazing experience.

You can wear a CGM by yourself, you can place to each other and learn critical parts from experts. In the Barbara Davis Center, we have more hybrid closed loop patients than anywhere in US. We will show you how to get the maximum benefits from these systems. At the end of the conference, we want you to fell more comfortable to care patients with type 1 diabetes and using diabetes technologies.

100% of previous attendees recommended Diabetes Dialog to future fellows and peers. We allow attendees based on our budget and logistics, unfortunately we can’t accept all applications, we highly encourage you to apply for Diabetes Dialog when applications are open. We had an enormous interest in previous years and received far more applications than we can accommodate but we plan to increase limit of attendees without changing the small-group atmosphere of our program.

We are looking forward to seeing you.
